Description
A stable and innovative leader in industrial condition monitoring systems is seeking a temporary Receiving Inspector to join the team. This is an approximately four-to-six month assignment supporting a NW Houston facility. The Receiving Inspector is responsible for receiving incoming materials and parts, conducting initial quality inspections, and performing administrative tasks within the company's ERP system.

Location: Houston, TX 77064 Type of Position: Temp
Responsibilities:
Place incoming material into Arrived Status in ERP (IFS).
Verify that part quantity matches PO quantity.
Inspect parts to Engineering documents or specifications including First Article Inspections.
Receive purchase orders into the ERP system once parts are verified to be acceptable.
Operate Forklift.
Requirements:
1 year of experience in Receiving and Inspection of manufactured and purchased parts
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year experience in the use of general measurement equipment found in a light engineering environment (includes height gauges and calipers, etc.)
Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills; written, oral, and inter-personal
Ability to multi-task and work independently
MS Office experience required and working knowledge of MRP system is a plus
