We are seeking a Receiving Department Lead - 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Starting pay $20.50.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the second shift put-away team.
- Ensure all received products are accurately stocked into the correct warehouse locations.
- Verify that all inventory movements are properly scanned and recorded in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with company put-away procedures.
- Ensure products are stored in appropriate bin locations based on available space, product dimensions, and warehouse organization standards.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, missing items, damaged products, and location issues.
- Coordinate with first shift receiving personnel and warehouse management regarding pending work, urgent orders, and inventory concerns.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe staging and warehouse areas.
- Train and coach team members on proper scanning procedures, inventory accuracy, productivity expectations, and warehouse safety.
- Monitor employee performance and productivity throughout the shift.
- Assist with resolving put-away issues, space constraints, and overflow situations.
- Ensure all company safety policies and equipment operating procedures are followed.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, including forklifts and order pickers/cherry pickers.
- Assist management with process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications
- Prior warehouse leadership or lead experience preferred.
- Experience in receiving, put-away, inventory control, or warehouse operations required.
- Experience in an aftermarket auto parts warehouse environment strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Forklift and/or order picker experience necessary.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights using order pickers/cherry pickers when required.
