Position Summary The Receiving Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by accurately receiving materials, receiving against a PO and stowing or put away into location. This role ensures materials are properly received, organized and staged to support warehouse receipt and inventory for order consumption and free of excess packaging or debris to maintain an efficient and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities - Receiving, inspecting, and unloading shipments from trucks or containers, ensuring accuracy and quality of material.
- Forklift Operation is required to support truck unload.
- Remove excess packaging, trash, and non-essential materials ("detrashing") prior to delivery to the production floor
- Organizing storage areas, maintaining inventory records, and performing cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels
- Transport materials to and from warehouse and production areas as needed
- Maintain organization of inventory and staging areas to support efficient workflow
- Verify quantities and part numbers to ensure alignment with production requirements
- Report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials to appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years in sit-down Forklift operations required
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick lists, or basic inventory documents
- Basic attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills and reliability

Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory. Salary Range: $18-$19/hr
