In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for managing inbound material verification, maintaining high ERP inventory accuracy, and ensuring full compliance with quality and safety standards within an industry-leading manufacturing environment. In a Receiving Specialist I job you’ll be responsible for:
Inbound Shipment Processing: Receiving, inspecting, and documenting inbound shipments for piece count, lot, and serial number accuracy while identifying and reporting damage or discrepancies.
ERP & Documentation Accuracy: Recording inventory transactions accurately in ERP/WMS systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX/365), maintaining logs/packing slips, and applying tracking labels.
Inventory Control & Quality: Performing cycle counts, assisting with annual physical inventories, and inspecting incoming goods to maintain 5S, Lean, and ISO quality standards.
Compliance & Safety: Following OSHA safety protocols, handling materials safely with industrial lift equipment, and ensuring full compliance with firearms regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Purchasing, Planning, and Quality Control teams to resolve material variances and expedite critical production inventory.
What you’ll need:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or order fulfillment operations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP/WMS platforms (Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or 365) and Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic reporting.
Certifications & Compliance: Powered Industrial Truck endorsement (internally certified) and the ability to pass and maintain a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA).
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, push equipment carts up to 260 lbs, and regularly lift boxes averaging 40 lbs (up to 70 lbs max).
