Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the receiving steward is to work with the receiving team to check in deliveries, ensuring quality and accuracy. You’ll also be responsible for general office support tasks, including handling documents, scanning, labeling, and organizing digital files. Other components of the position include janitorial and simple maintenance tasks. What You’ll Do:
- Receive and process deliveries with care and accuracy
- Use basic computer skills to scan, download, label, and organize files and invoices
- Communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and quality-- in person and via email
- Move product safely from trucks using carts/U-boats
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory of general supplies
- Clean and maintain back-of-house workspaces and common spaces as needed
- Work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong communication skills—you’re clear, respectful, and responsive
- A problem-solving mindset—you like to figure things out and keep things running smoothly
- Comfort with basic computer tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs
- Prior experience in receiving, grocery, retail, or inventory a plus—but not required
- Availability 6am-3pm most days
