    Description

    Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.

    This position is responsible for the daily operation of the Entertainment Complex Food & Beverage Warehouse. Warehouse Clerks are responsible for receiving and distributing Food & Beverage goods throughout the Entertainment Complex. The primary working time frame for the position revolves around the Hersheypark season, including spring, summer, and fall seasonal operations. The Entertainment Complex consists of Hersheypark, ZooAmerica, Hersheypark Stadium, Hersheypark Arena, GIANT Center, and Hershey Theatre.

    Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

    • Answering the warehouse phones and two-way radio pages and accurately taking stock orders*

    • Monitoring stock levels of the warehouse and communicating any shortages in orders and inventory to the management team*  

    • Processing, receiving, rotating, and correctly storing food and food product items within the main Food & Beverage warehouse location (which includes dry storage, frozen, and refrigerated areas)*

    • Delivering orders of food and food products from the warehouse to individual concession, catering areas, and other Entertainment Complex facilities (by pick-up truck/service vehicle, by hand cart, and/or by hand)*  

    • Maintaining proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and warehouse equipment, including service vehicles*  

    • Working in a team environment and completing tasks and goals in a quick and responsive manner*  

    • Performing warehouse opening and closing duties*

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying 

    • Must have a valid PA Driver’s License and good driving record 

    • Must be certified or be able to pass an alcohol service class (RAMPs Training – will be provided)

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Skilled in the use of Tables and the Google Workspace programs including Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Drive.  (Training will be provided if not skilled).

    • Must be self-motivated to complete tasks  

    • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines  

    Job Demands:

    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes Monday through Sunday (including holidays) with shifts starting as early as 4am and ending as late as 8pm, and some shifts ending 1am the following morning (Hersheypark Stadium Events)  

    • Must be able to work a minimum of two (2) weekends (Saturday and Sunday) each month and a minimum of three (3) days and at least 25 - 30 hours per week during May, June, July, and August (including shifts in excess of 8 hours) and at least 15 hours per week during September through April (additional hours may be available during some weeks)  

    • Physical requirements include standing (for periods up to at least 8 hours at a time), walking (including up and down stairs, hills and uneven grounds while pushing a handcart of 100 lbs. or more), and bending and repeated lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance)  

    • Regular environmental work conditions, including extreme temperature changes and humidity changes during a standard shift
