Receiving Supervisor (Cat 4)

Job Description 

• Assist in preparing purchase orders for procurement of goods, clothing and materials ensuring specifications and timing requirements are met. 
• Monitor inventory and advise GM/AGM accordingly. 
• Supervises daily workflow in the Storeroom area. 
• Manages cycle inventory process, perform inventory counts, analyze results and resolves discrepancies.
• Summarize problems and develop process changes to prevent discrepancies.                                                           
• Follows standard Operating Procedures and practices to monitor staff and ensures a safe working environment.
• Recruits, trains, monitors and mentor staff on all procedures and processes for storerooms and purchasing. Schedules staff as necessary.
• Maintains productive internal relationships and responds quickly and courteously to all requests for assistance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.  
2. Minimum 3 years experience in Storeroom procedures / inventory.  
3. Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role. 
4. Strong attention to detail, ability to train others, be a results-oriented team player and professionally represent a quality operations department. 
5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of weight.  
6. Present a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with outside vendors and internal customers.
7. Excellent organizational skills and knowledgeable of computer systems as well as purchasing and inventory programs.
8. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends/holidays as required.  
9. Must be able to communicate spoken and written English.
