Job Position: Receiving Supervisor

Location: McDonough, GA 30253

Pay Rate: $60000.00-70000.00

Shift: 1st shift

Description: Job Title: Receiving Supervisor (1st Shift, 5:45am-4PM) Location: McDonough, GA (Onsite) 30252

Responsibilities:
• Manage on-floor activities: unloading containers, staging products in the inbound area, putting away products in designated areas, and picking product requests from the receiving staging area
• Review and analyze shipment inbound reports
• Print container load plans, organize, and prepare daily shipment receipts
• Provide CLPs and packing lists to container unloading crews and direct which containers should be unloaded
• Review unload counts from crews, process receiving entries into WMS inventory
• Analyze, review, and direct requests to send material from inbound staging areas to customer picking areas
• Direct incoming deliveries, arrange trailers as necessary to manage space for containers
• Assist management with various other special projects
• Responsible for daily labor planning, coordinating with staffing agencies to be able to flex up and down based on inbound containers
• Will manage productivity standards along with sending daily productivity reports to management
• Will have accountability for receiving inbound deliveries and verification of all supply orders
• Focus on continuous improvement and make recommendations to improve operations in areas such as safety, process flow, space utilization/layout, and inventory accuracy
• Position is a working supervisor role that requires 100% of time on the floor, which involves working alongside team members
• Load and unload trucks via forklift
• Create SOPs for new procedures and ensure the team is adhering to them.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback or coaching.

What You'll Bring:
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Receiving Supervisor or Manager position in a distribution center/warehouse environment
• Forklift experience-must be proficient on Reach Truck
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with both staff and vendors, and provide clear direction
• Lean Six Sigma experience a plus
