Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Receiving Team Lead - 2nd Shift - RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.

The pay rate for this position is $24 + shift differential per hour.

Core hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm

What you'll do:

The Receiving Team Lead will lead and work alongside the materials and shipping/receiving team to ensure each product line has timely support. Also, you will provide support to our manufacturing team.

In this role you:

  • Coordinate daily inbound shipments to ensure on time customer delivery.
  • Schedule transportation for truckload (TL) and less than truckload (LTL) inbound shipments.
  • Act as liaison between production, materials, transportation, and warehouse teams to support outbound flow.
  • Monitor inbound shipment status and resolve delivery or transportation issues.
  • Verify outbound orders meet customer requirements and shipping deadlines.
  • Ensure outbound shipments comply with state, federal, and global shipping regulations.
  • Process outbound freight transactions using SAP.
  • Create and maintain outbound documentation: Deliveries, Goods Issue (GI) postings, Packing lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), Shipping documentation
  • Maintain accurate outbound inventory and shipment records in SAP.
  • Troubleshoot SAP shipping or inventory discrepancies related to outbound orders.
  • Serve as an SAP resource
  • Coordinate dock schedules and manage outbound driver check in/out.
  • Support outbound-related inventory control activities, including:
  • Material movements
  • Transfer orders
  • Ensure accuracy between physical outbound stock and SAP inventory data.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing and receiving processes.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft applications.

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using SAP, warehouse management system

Skills:

Position Criteria:

  • Ability to use good judgment when handling material with a safety focus
  • Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
  • Must obtain forklift certification upon hire to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.
