The Receiving Technician position is essential to the warehouse and purchasing operations. Receiving Technicians accurately receive and verify finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials and bulk deliveries for silo fills. SCOPE
This position reports to the Primary Warehouse. They support work activities in the Primary Warehouse area as needed. They also support other operational activities in other departments and warehouse teams as directed by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Systematically and accurately receives and verifies inbound raw material, packaging supplies, finished goods and bulk silo loads for the Warehouse operations and external co-packers.
- Creates LP/IB for all inbound pallets.
- Labels and tags all flammable, allergen, and temperature-controlled items for correct bin staging upon receiving verification.
- Returns all finished goods, raw material, and packaging materials to proper locations upon completion of the receiving process systematically and accurately.
- Accurately uploads and completes all NetSuite and system information regarding receiving, arrival documents, notes, BOL's/delivery documents and logs, both internal and external, upon completion of the order.
- Revises delivery documents to reflect accuracy of delivery in conjunction with the driver's signature.
- Communicates any order discrepancies to purchasing upon arrival.
- Receives, signs for, and confirms all package deliveries and distributes to the correct sub-team.
- Consolidates, verifies, and LP/IB staged packaging material for trailer return.
- Notifies warehouse supervisor of any arrivals not included on the in-bound appointment log.
- Works under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure accurate storage of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials in the warehouse.
- Performs physical Inventory of assigned areas when directed.
- Meets daily/weekly/monthly production KPI's and warehouse objectives.
- Comply with all Quality, HAACP, GMP and Food Safety Standards
- Escalate Safety, Quality, and Productivity issues immediately to supervisors.
- Maintains and is responsible for the maintenance and safe return of all equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Basic computer skills to operate computer automated equipment.
- Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator)
- Must be able to read and interpret weight scales and tape measures.
- Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
- RF Scanner and/or previous ERP system experience is a plus.
EDUCATION
- Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
