PrideStaff is partnering with a local law firm to find a Temporary Law Office Assistant for their team. You will work in a professional legal environment where you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals. This is a role for someone who is highly organized, maintains a professional demeanor, and takes pride in ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
What you will do:
- Answer a multi-line telephone system, directing calls to appropriate staff members and taking accurate messages.
- Welcome visiting clients, vendors, and opposing counsel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages while preparing outgoing items and certified letters.
- Assist with both physical and electronic filing to ensure document organization.
- Scan, photocopy, and bind legal documents as requested by the legal staff.
- Update client files and enter data into the firm's case management system to maintain accurate records.
- Monitor office supply inventory and keep the reception area and conference rooms tidy.
- Handle highly sensitive client information with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the overall flow of the office.

Education:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred; prior experience in a legal setting is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard office equipment like copiers and scanners.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Attention to Detail: ??A high level of accuracy in data entry and document handling.
Confidentiality: The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
