Reception & IT Support Coordinator
Summary
Our client is seeking a Receptionist & IT Support Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors while providing day-to-day technical and audiovisual support across the organization. This role will help ensure smooth office operations by supporting end-users, maintaining technology and equipment, managing inventory, and assisting with office administration. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in IT while gaining hands-on experience in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome visitors, answer and route incoming calls, and deliver a professional front-desk experience.
Support employees with basic technical troubleshooting of hardware, software, printers, and Microsoft Office applications.
Assist with conference room and audiovisual set-up for meetings and presentations.
Manage IT equipment inventory, organize storage areas, and coordinate ordering of technology parts and office supplies.
Support workstation set-up, equipment deployment, and general office technology needs during employee onboarding and office operations.
Open and close the office as needed while helping maintain an organized and functional workplace.
Provide excellent customer service while supporting an organization serving children and adults who have experienced trauma, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity in all interactions.
Assist with administrative tasks and special projects to support office operations and the IT Team.
Requirements
Basic computer troubleshooting skills and familiarity with common office technology.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Comfortable working in an environment that supports children and adults who have experienced trauma.
Preferred
Experience or exposure to audiovisual equipment set-up.
