Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: 8a-4p, 8a-12p, 12p-4a, 4p-8p, 2p-8p. Hours vary.

Summary:

Greets, directs and/or provide assistance to patients, family members and visitors entering the facility in a friendly, courteous & professional manner. Answers telephones, routes calls to appropriate staff, takes accurate phone messages and relays messages to staff. Provides basic clerical duties following established procedures as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Prior customer service and/or receptionist experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language clearly
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public
  • Ability to follow written or oral instructions
  • Excellent communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non-verbal communication
  • Must have strong telephone skills and etiquette
