About the job


The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support). Law office experience is a plus!


Responsibilities


  • Act as a first point of contact for visitors.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the correct person or department.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and faxes.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, copying, and faxing documents.
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including scheduling consultations with new and potential clients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area and common spaces.
  • Assist with ordering and managing office supplies.
  • Potentially assist with basic client intake information and case management software input.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications


  • High school diploma or relevant work experience
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
