About the job
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support). Law office experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact for visitors.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the correct person or department.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and faxes.
Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, copying, and faxing documents.
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, including scheduling consultations with new and potential clients.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area and common spaces.
Assist with ordering and managing office supplies.
Potentially assist with basic client intake information and case management software input.
Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or relevant work experience
Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
