Lab Receptionist Kernodle Clinic is a respected and progressive multi-specialty group practice with Clinics in Burlington, Mebane and Elon. Burlington is accessible as a day trip to NC mountains and beaches. Ample recreational activities, shopping, and easy access to metros (Greensboro, Raleigh and Durham) are unique to Burlington. We are seeking a patient-focused individual to join our Lab Department as a full-time Receptionist at our Burlington Kernodle Clinic location. In this role, you will help ensure the efficient flow of patients throughout the Lab by greeting patients, calling them into the Lab, and directing them to the appropriate phlebotomy station. You will also receive and process patient specimen drop-offs, verifying each patient's name and date of birth to ensure accuracy. Additional responsibilities include stocking phlebotomy stations, obtaining laboratory orders from nursing staff and providers, assisting with patient transport as needed, and providing administrative support to help maintain an organized and efficient laboratory environment. Experience preferred, but not required. EPIC experience is required. Schedule would be Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All candidates must have exceptional customer service, computer experience, medical knowledge, multi-tasking skills and be able to provide a friendly and welcoming environment to our patient population.
