Receptionist

The Lutheran Home is looking for a friendly and caring Receptionist to join our team in our Health Center! In this role, you will be a first point of contact for calls, visitors, and those exploring our community, helping everyone feel valued, connected, and at home. You will reflect our values of: Service, Excellence, Dignity, Fulfillment, Grace, and Stewardship through your daily interactions. The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Guest services – Greet guests, employees, and visitors; direct them to the appropriate person; answer incoming calls and emails, and relay messages as needed.
• Administration – Maintain accurate records and organized files, monitor office supplies, assist with mail and package distribution, and support scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Van Scheduling – Coordinate resident transportation appointments, maintain the van schedule, track resident departures and returns, and communicate scheduling needs with the van driver.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong phone and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Reliable, professional, courteous, and patient
