Description
This position primarily provides coverage of the Shepherd's Way Main Lobby Receptionist Desk and facility telephone console. Additionally, some clerical support including but not limited to administrative support of: Administrator of Independent Living, Administrator of Skilled Nursing, Administrator of Personal Care Services, and the Director of Human Resources. Position: Part-time hourly - some evenings (4 pm to 8pm) and every other Saturday and Sunday (8am to 2pm)DUTIES to include (but not limited to): Greets and directs guests that arrive in the Shepherd's Way Main Lobby with professional and friendly attitude. Answers and routes phone calls with professional and friendly attitude. Supports Administrator of Independent Living and other Department Directors by fulfilling project requests. Maintains highest level of confidentiality in all things as required. Management of our guest sign in program. Monitor Independent Living Suite Call Bell system on cell phone.Maintain constant communication with Desk Receptionist via cell phone and/or radio.Respond to call bells in the Suites, call 911 if needed, and remain with resident until EMT's arrive. Complete incident report.Respond to Fire alarm location and report findings to Desk Receptionist.Sort and deliver Healthcare mail as needed.Deliver packages to Atrium for G and H Wing IL Residents.Assist evening Life Enrichment Staff as requested.Assist Marketing and Administrator of Independent Living with flyers, mailings, etc. as requested. REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES: High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year of experience in personal care or long-term care setting preferred. Must be able to perform the duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Including but not limited to: sitting, bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching.
