RECEPTIONIST/ADMIN ASSISTANT

SUMMARY

The primary role of this position is to facilitate the transition of all in-coming phone calls and visitors to the proper associate in a timely manner. Also, this position will be responsible for administrative duties to be assigned from time to time by Management that can be performed while stationed at the reception desk. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      Greet each visitor with a professional demeanor

      Diary all visitors and vendor deliveries

      Ensure office security and manage front desk

      Transfer calls to the appropriate MCS office and representative

      Assist with opening, sorting and scanning mail

      Ensure lobby, conference rooms, and break-out room are kept orderly

·       Complete special projects with operations and finance team

·       Coordinate employee and client events

·       Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

      Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

      Ability to interact with customers at all levels via phone manner or visitors

      High-level of attention to detail

      Ability to multi-task effectively and maintain organization and composure under high pressure

      Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word)

      Capable of making timely, independent decisions

 EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

·       Associate's Degree is preferred, but at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years of related work experience

·       Must be able to work with Management to ensure MCS standards

·       Presents self to customers with appropriate attitude.

·       Respects customer privacy

·       Maintains a secure and trusting work environment.

·       Maintains an appropriate professional appearance in the workplace

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods in a 7 1/2 hour to eight-hour day. Excessive use of phone, computer keyboard and monitor 

COMPENSATION

starting at $17-$18 an hour
