Theresa Simes-Farmers Insurance Agency in FOUNTAIN VALLEY, California, is looking for a detail-oriented, professional, and friendly individual to join our team as an Customer Service Specialist. We are a busy insurance office and you will be our amazing clients first point of contact. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, and we know that with your positive attitude you will be the perfect fit for this role.

Each day you will be responsible for answering multiple phone lines, providing customer service to agency customers, greeting office visitors throughout the day, drafting letters & reports, and other additional clerical duties as needed. You will also learn to quote and write policies once you are licensed.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Hourly Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities

Responsibilities

Immediately greet all customers entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Take premium payments from customers.

Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.

Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Develop and maintain client relationships and promote new relationships.

Obtain prospect's information and complete quote sheets. Eventually you will be able to quote and write policies for new and existing customers.

Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Proficiency to take a task to completion, with excellent follow-thru and follow-up.

Must have ability to multi-task.

Professional phone etiquette.

Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.

Problem-Solving Capabilities.

Work well with others and be a team player with a positive attitude.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.

No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn and obtain insurance license upon hire.
