Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator

The Budnick Agency Farmers Insurance is hiring a friendly, dependable receptionist for our Laingsburg office. Youll be the first point of contact for callers and visitors, helping customers reach the right person and keeping our busy office organized.

This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and stays organized while handling a high volume of calls. Insurance experience is helpful but not required.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.

Identify the reason for each call and route it to the appropriate sales or customer service team member.

Take accurate messages and record callback requests.

Greet visitors and connect them with the appropriate staff member.

Schedule appointments and assist with follow-up coordination.

Update customer contact information and document interactions in our agency system.

Assist with mail, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks.

Keep the reception area organized and welcoming.

Protect confidential customer information.

Friendly, professional phone manner and strong communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple phone lines and a high volume of incoming calls.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and accurate typing skills.

Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.

Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work in our Laingsburg office.

Ability to remain calm and helpful during busy periods.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.

Insurance experience is a plus; an insurance license is not required for this receptionist role.
