As the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, you will be the welcoming face and reassuring voice of our hospital. Your warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail will help set the tone for a positive care experience. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel seen, heard, and supported from the moment they arrive.
What You'll Do
Greet patients, visitors, and staff with empathy and professionalism, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Answer and direct phone calls, providing accurate information and routing inquiries to the right departments.
Manage patient check-in, ensuring all forms and documentation are completed accurately.
Support clinical and administrative teams with clerical tasks, such as scanning, filing, and data entry.
Receives, sorts and forwards, incoming mail.
Assists with other related clerical duties for other departments.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
Schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am - 8:00pm
Requirements
High school degree or GED required.
Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, or administrative assistant—healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with empathy and clarity.
Proficiency with office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, even in fast-paced or emotionally charged situations.
A commitment to patient privacy, dignity, and respect.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
