JOB DETAILS
Comprehensive Home Health Solutions is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is the first point of contact for our patients, families, referral sources, and visitors and plays an essential role in keeping our office running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
Greet patients, families, visitors, and referral sources with a welcoming and professional attitude.
Receive, organize, and distribute mail and packages.
Unpack and organize office and medical supply deliveries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and other administrative tasks.
Schedule appointments and meetings as needed.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Assist clinical and administrative staff with daily office operations.
Process incoming faxes and emails.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the office and clinical team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous receptionist or administrative office experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a home health, hospice, or medical office setting.
Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, professional, and compassionate demeanor.
Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.
Experience handling confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
