Description:

Position Purpose:

Saint Francis Hospital is looking for a Receptionist to join our Medical Clinic.

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and care to all patients and clients. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

What you will do:

  • Greets patients, verifies registration information, confirms insurance information, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Answers multi-line phone and triages calls
  • Scheduling appointments and procedures for exams and procedures
  • Performs clerical and secretarial tasks to support the department
  • Assists Medical Assistant and works with other staff members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of clinic.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 years' experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Basic computer abilities.  
  • Excellent written, oral communication and customer service skills. 
  • Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously.
