Receptionist Location: Richmond, VA

Position Overview We are seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist to join our team on a temporary contract basis for approximately 2-3 months. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees while providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities - Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain reception and common areas to ensure a professional appearance.
- Schedule conference rooms and assist with meeting setup.
- Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
- Assist with special projects and provide support to various departments as needed.
- Maintain internal contact lists and ensure accurate office records.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a professional office environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
