ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets and welcome patients/visitors warmly as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person as needed.
- Answers, screens, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic payment information as needed.
- Ensure reception area is neat, tidy and presentable.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Updates and verify patient insurance and data information
- Performs other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning and faxing.
- Responsible for reconciling cash for frontend daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES:
- Understanding of customer service principles and principles.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Understanding office protocols and procedures.
- Knowledge of appropriate business etiquette in terms of dress, behavior and communication

- Ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as, computer, telephones, printers and scanners
- Knowledge of office equipment and ability to handle multi-time telephones.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience - Customer service, computer. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
