A respected litigation law firm in Kingwood, TX, is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist / Legal Administrative Assistant to join its growing team. The firm provides effective and strategic representation in pre-suit investigations, litigation, arbitration, trial, and appellate matters for a diverse client base across established and emerging industries. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers while providing administrative support to the legal team. Position: Receptionist / Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Kingwood, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 100% In Office
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and route incoming telephone calls
  • Save and organize legal documents electronically within the firm's document management system
  • Distribute documents and correspondence to attorneys and staff
  • Enter document descriptions and information into the firm's billing software
  • Maintain attorney calendars and docket important case deadlines using Microsoft Outlook
  • Assist with general office administrative duties, including filing, scanning, copying, and mail distribution
  • Support attorneys and staff with day-to-day administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a law firm environment
  • Previous receptionist or legal administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with legal billing software is a plus
