Ophthalmology office is currently seeking an experienced full time receptionist. Job will entail: answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking payments, insurance verification and general office duties. This position requires excellent customer service skills with both external and internal clients, ability to resolve conflicts over the phone, and strong attention to detail. Must be comfortable with collecting money and communication regarding scheduling and patient accounts.

Basic Qualifications:
· Must be proficient with a Windows based computer system
· Verbal and interpersonal communications
· Strong clerical skills-photocopying & faxing
· High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· 1+ years of experience
· Excellent organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
· Highly motivated, organized, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
· Positive, proactive and able to consistently exercise great judgment
· Ability to prioritize and react with appropriate levels of urgency to multiple situations.
