$17.81 per hour | Full-time

Responsible for central communications and performing related clerical tasks in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.

What you will do

• Route incoming and inter-office calls and make connections with outside lines for outgoing calls.
• Place long-distance calls and keep record of all long-distance calls, outgoing and incoming reversed charge calls.
• Take messages for staff and detainees and forward as appropriate.
• Keep directory of location and telephone extension for assigned personnel.
• Type correspondence, reports and letters; proofread material to verify accuracy.
• Perform data entry and process documents as assigned.
• Maintain records, files and appropriate office supplies.
• Under direction, order and coordinate communication services.
• Greet and direct visitors to the proper office.
• Log and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail.

What you will need

• High school diploma or GED
• US Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required.
• Fluent in Spanish, speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing, and six (6) months of clerical or administrative experience is highly desired.
• Must successfully complete required preservice training.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
