Receptionist/ Orientation Assistant

Pay:

$41,600 - $47,840 a year

Job Description:

This is a Full Time Receptionist/Orientation Assistant position located right off the Medical Lake exit near the Petro. Easy access right off the freeway, minutes from Downtown Spokane.

The primary function of the Receptionist/Orientation Assistant is to run all DOT required reports for incoming CDL applicants to ensure they meet our hiring requirements, as well as DOT requirements. This position is also in charge of running weekly audits on files to ensure we are meeting all DOT requirements requirements in addition to providing support to processing incoming applications.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Answer phone calls and emails for new and existing employees, and answer questions or forward to correct department as needed.
• Order Flights/Busses, and Ubers along with hotel stays for employees.
• Book DOT Physical appointments as well as Pre-work Screen physicals with outside vendors.
• Ensure all required DOT information is provided.
• Upload CDL, Med cards, and DOT Physicals to each driver's profile.
• Confirm all I-9 documents are present and are in good status of new employees.
• Ensure all training documentation is completed accurately and completely and then scan into each employee's profile.
• Help ensure all employment gaps are filled in and communication with the driver's recruiter for additional help as needed.
• Help with weekly orientation duties and each new candidate has everything necessary to being hired.
• Assign badges and fuel cards for new employees.
• Assist in processing incoming applications by running MVR, PSP, Vigillo, Criminal Background checks, and employment verifications.
• Assist in compliance audits of driver files.
• All other duties assigned.

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, it is preferred an individual have:

• A High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
