Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff, we would love to meet you!

The Receptionist serves as an important first point of contact for the facility and helps ensure the front desk operates efficiently and professionally.

Position Details

• Position: Receptionist

• Status: Part-Time

• Schedule: 5 days per week, Tuesday-Saturday

• Hours: Approximately 28 hours per week

• Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

• Location: Rossmoor Post Acute

• Weekend Coverage: Saturday is required

Possible Schedule

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

• Thursday: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM

We have some flexibility with the schedule; however, weekend coverage is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls

• Assist visitors with check-in and facility procedures

• Respond to general inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department

• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area

• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other communications

• Assist with basic administrative and clerical duties

• Maintain accurate records and handle information appropriately

• Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals

• Follow facility policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Basic computer and office skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Dependable, punctual, and reliable

• Must be available to work weekends

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on facility needs

• Previous healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus
