Overview:

Responsibilities: 

  • Greet and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Check patients in and out while verifying patient and responsible party demographic information, insurance eligibility, and completion of required pre-visit screenings.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records by ensuring current insurance cards are on file and annual registration and Protected Health Information (PHI) forms are completed and signed.

  • Verify insurance eligibility and Medicaid PCP assignments before appointments.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments following clinic guidelines.
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and relay messages to the appropriate staff.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous medical receptionist, clerical, or customer service experience preferred. 
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional travel between our Fayetteville and Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) clinic locations may be needed to provide coverage and team support.
