Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Receptionist on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area Engineering Consultant. They are seeking candidates who are friendly, organized, and dependable to be the first point of contact for clients, prospective clients, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a multi-office atmosphere
- Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide back-up administrative support to other staff as needed and may include basic data entry, filing and document preparation
Requirements:
- Experience with navigating a computer network required
- Well-versed with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time
- An understanding of engineering consulting firm dynamics is a plus
- 5+ years' experience in a technical setting, preferably engineering, or a similar role
