Medical Receptionist

A large healthcare organization is hiring a Receptionist to provide front desk and administrative support at medical offices throughout San Diego. Most assignments will be at locations within Central San Diego. This position offers a guaranteed 40 hour workweek and is ideal for someone who provides excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.

Compensation

• $25 per hour
• Guaranteed 40 hour workweek

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors as the first point of contact
• Assist with patient registration and kiosk check in
• Answer questions and provide directions throughout the facility
• Support front desk operations across different departments
• Process payments and complete cash reconciliation
• Respond to patient needs and help resolve concerns
• Build positive relationships with patients, staff, and medical teams

Schedule and Location

• Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday
• Two scheduled days off during the week
• Shifts may be scheduled between 5:45 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
• Most assignments will be within Central San Diego
• A primary work location will be assigned
• Occasional travel to other San Diego County locations may be required
• Reliable transportation is required

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, front desk, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Professional, welcoming, and patient focused approach
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
• Comfortable standing, greeting patients, and assisting with wayfinding
• Dependable and flexible with scheduling and work location

Training includes job shadowing, department orientation, workflow training, and rotations through different areas.
