Receptionist Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified receptionist to welcome and greet our clients, direct them around the office, and handle our various administrative support tasks.

A good receptionist must check every visitor who comes to our office, and maintain visitor logs. He or she will need to handle a variety of tasks, such as faxing, taking and routing phone calls, sending mail. A good job candidate must be professional and friendly, especially when dealing with clients. Excellent service is a must for great customer experiences.

Responsibilities of a Receptionist:

  • Welcoming and greeting clients
  • Performing safety checks and issuing visitor badges
  • Directing clients around the office
  • Maintaining visitor logs
  • Answering and forwarding phone calls
  • Organizing and distributing mail
  • Copying, faxing and performing other administrative tasks
  • Keeping the reception desk and area clean and well-organized
  • Download security scanners in a timely manner
  • Provide the appropriate documents to employees depending on need
  • Providing delightful customer service

Receptionist Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a receptionist is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great telephone communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Good computer skills, including competency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Good time-management skills
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Professional and friendly disposition
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to assist colleagues with administrative tasks
