Medical Receptionist to join a well-established outpatient clinic in
Smithtown, NY. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-facing environment, keeps things organized under pressure, and understands that first impressions matter.
- Compensation: $22-27/hr
- Location: Smithtown, NY
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 5 8.5 shifts between 7am-7pm
- Stability: Consistent weekday hours in an outpatient setting

Key Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones, manage messages, and route calls appropriately
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Collect co-pays and process payments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Address patient questions, concerns, and basic administrative needs
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing role
- Prior medical office or healthcare experience strongly preferred
