Our agency opened in 2023 and is a growing team of five led by deep industry experience. I’ve spent 32 years with State Farm, including serving as a Vice President before returning to production to build and develop a high-performing agency. Throughout my career, I’ve helped open over 400 agencies, with a strong focus on identifying and developing talent.

I hold an MBA from Duke University and have been married for 25 years with three children. I’m passionate about helping people grow—not just in their careers, but in all areas of life.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Paul Odland - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
