Receptionist / Switchboard Operator (Medical Office)
Pay: $14.00/hour
We are seeking a friendly, organized Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to support the daily operations of a busy medical office. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills who can efficiently manage calls, paperwork, and administrative tasks while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
- Route voicemail messages and incoming faxes to the appropriate departments.
- Monitor and process patient disability forms to ensure timely completion.
- Assist patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and perform general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, switchboard, or medical office experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with standard office equipment and basic computer applications.
- Experience handling medical documentation or disability forms is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
