Receptionist
Rate: $16/hour
Shift: Part-Time
Schedule: Weekends, 2:30 pm - 8 pm
Seneca Health Care Center is looking to add a Receptionist to our team. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff while helping support daily administrative operations. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome visitors and ensure proper sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed
- Monitor facility entrances and follow building security procedures to support resident safety
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate departments, staff, or resident rooms
- Perform administrative support tasks including typing, copying, filing, and mail distribution
- Maintain copier and office supply areas and distribute incoming faxes
- Sort and distribute resident and facility mail
- Maintain resident directories and mailing information
- Prepare door tags, reports, and other clerical documents as requested
- Assist with resident transportation and help residents enter or exit the facility when needed
- Use the facility intercom system for announcements and staff paging
- Attend required trainings and comply with facility policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months of administrative or customer service experience required
- Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach
