Markhoff & Mittman P.C., also known as The Disability Guys, was founded in 1933 on the idea that people who are injured on the job should be treated with respect. Our firm has been on the forefront of New York workers’ disability for almost seventy-five years.

Today we are as committed as ever to helping people who have had an accident at work recover the compensation that will allow them to move on with their lives. We know that when people turn to a workers’ compensation or social security disability lawyer, they are under a lot of stress. Generally, their disability claim has already been denied and their savings have been depleted.

Markhoff & Mittman, P.C. specializes in Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability. At our law office we help injured and disabled workers get back on their feet and back to the lives they deserve. It is truly an awesome place to work! At The Disability Guys (Markhoff & Mittman, P.C.), we're looking for someone who is more than a receptionist—we're looking for the person who creates an exceptional first impression for every client who contacts our firm.

What You'll Do:

· Welcome clients, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and warmth.

· Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls with empathy and efficiency.

· Schedule appointments and route calls appropriately.

· Process legal and medical documents accurately.

· Scan, upload, and organize electronic client files.

· Assist walk-in clients and support daily office operations.

· Learn Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability terminology to confidently assist clients.

· Collaborate with our team to deliver outstanding client service every day.

What You Bring:

· Is bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

· Has at least one year of receptionist, call center, customer service, or front desk experience.

· Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.

· Communicates professionally with clients and coworkers.

· Learns new technology quickly and is comfortable using Microsoft Office and other software.

· Remains calm and positive in a busy environment.

Salary range: $21-$25 per hour
