Receiving Lead

We are currently looking for a motivated leader with experience in receiving for a client located in North Canton, Ohio. If you have the skills to oversee warehouse operations and guide a team, this opportunity might be the right fit for you!

Join a dynamic company that offers over 14,000 SKUs, including truck supply, entertainment, gift/novelty, souvenir, and apparel items. As the Receiving Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth inbound logistics and maintaining inventory accuracy. Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with overtime as needed

Pay:
$18.00 per hour, starting rate; pay increases to $22-$25/hr once hired in, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload shipments and compare packing lists to purchase orders to ensure accuracy
  • Accurately log incoming goods to maintain inventory
  • Document discrepancies with orders
  • Handle damaged goods according to company policy
  • Label products and organize them in designated storage areas
  • Train new hires
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' experience in receiving within a warehouse environment
  • 1+ years' experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Basic computer skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with inventory management systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior warehouse leadership experience

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs as required
