Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from start to finish, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional customer experience?

We're partnering with a growing, well-established restoration company in the Jackson, MS area that's looking for a Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects after property damage. Whether you're coming from general construction, residential remodeling, commercial construction, or insurance restoration, we're looking for someone with strong project management experience. If you know construction, we can teach the restoration side.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Reconstruction Project Manager, you'll oversee projects from initial scope through final completion while serving as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and insurance partners.

Projects range from smaller residential repairs to large commercial reconstruction projects, with responsibility for managing approximately $1 million in annual reconstruction volume.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage multiple residential and commercial reconstruction projects simultaneously
  • Visit job sites to assess damage and develop project scopes
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and project timelines
  • Build strong relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and consultants
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout each project
  • Perform routine job site inspections and maintain high-quality workmanship
  • Resolve project challenges quickly while keeping customers informed
  • Complete punch lists and ensure projects close efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation, photos, and compliance records
  • Utilize technology and project management software to keep projects organized
  • Ensure OSHA and company safety standards are followed
  • Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Construction project management experience
  • Residential and/or commercial construction background
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, smartphones, and project management software
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as project demands require
  • An established network of trusted subcontractors that you can leverage immediately

Highly Preferred

  • Experience in restoration or insurance reconstruction
  • Experience with Xactimate, Symbility, DASH, Matterport, or similar industry software
