Record Center Specialist 1

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Record Center Specialists. This role involves physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward frequently. The primary responsibilities include moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh between 24 lbs. and over 100 lbs. Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards is required, with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best".

Responsibilities

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs. without assistance regularly.
• Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.
• Read and write English proficiently.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
• Operate handheld scanners.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.
• Capability to load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.

Work Schedule

The normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
