    About the Role
    Do you enjoy organizing files, working with technology, and keeping information accessible and secure? We're looking for a detail-oriented Records Management Technician to help modernize the County's records management system. This position combines document scanning, records organization, data management, and administrative support in a fast-paced office environment.
    Responsibilities
    Inventory and organize physical records
    Prepare, sort, scan, and index documents
    Coordinate records storage, box transfers, and file retrievals
    Maintain electronic records and SharePoint file systems
    Perform quality checks on scanned documents
    Operate and troubleshoot scanners and imaging equipment
    Protect confidential and sensitive information
    Generate reports and assist with special projects
    Clean and maintain scanning equipment
    Qualifications

    Previous office experience preferred
    Experience with computers, scanners, copiers, and Microsoft Windows
    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Ability to work independently and follow instructions

    Physical Requirements
    Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
    Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day
    Work performed in office and records storage environments
    Occasional exposure to dust, noise, and warehouse conditions
