Greenville County Records Division is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and self-motivated individual to join our team. This individual will provide specialized clerical and administrative support for criminal justice agencies. Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations; review and processing of law enforcement reports; performs data entry functions involving various computer applications to include entry and updates to law enforcement reports. Verifies accuracy of entered data and processed documents; conduct research for criminal justice agencies; performs customer service functions regarding department/division operations. High school diploma or GED required. Considerable experience in an administrative/clerical field or any equivalent combination of education and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities. Exercises judgement in applying established County policies and procedures relative to Public Safety/Records Division. Must be able to type at a corrected rate of forty to fifty words per minute. NCIC certification will be required. Must have a valid South Carolina Driver"s License. NOTE; THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION (10:30PM TO 7:OOAM), shift, holidays and weekend work required.
