We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Records Storage & Documentation Specialist to assist with a short-term records management and office organization project. This role will focus on preparing, organizing, labeling, and documenting records for secure off-site storage.
Responsibilities
Organize and prepare documents for secure storage.
Pack, assemble, and label records-storage boxes.
Maintain accurate box inventories and documentation.
Match records and documentation to the correct storage containers.
Track completed boxes and designated storage locations.
Assist with clearing file cabinets and packing office materials.
Handle confidential records with discretion.
Communicate completed work, project status, and any issues to the appropriate team members.
Follow established records-handling and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and established processes accurately.
Dependable and comfortable working independently.
Basic computer, email, copying, and documentation skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Ability to safely lift and move document boxes as needed.
Willingness to wear required protective equipment during the assignment.
Work environment:
The work may involve exposure to dust from stored documents. Protective equipment will be provided and must be worn as required, including:
Shoe covers
Disposable protective coveralls worn over regular clothing
Protective gloves
Face masks to help reduce dust inhalation
