    In this role, you will oversee the review and processing of insurance overpayment requests, insurance credit balances, compliance audit repayments, and client credit balances. You will provide leadership to the Client Financial Services team,monitorquality and productivity standards, support staff development, ensure regulatory compliance, and work collaboratively across departments to improve processes and achieve organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Lead and support the Client Financial Services team by providing direction, coaching, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities.· Oversee the review and resolution of insurance overpayment requests, insurance credit balances, compliance audit repayments, and client credit balances.· Collaborate with revenue cycle and organizational leadership toestablishgoals, improve processes, and enhance departmental performance.· Review payer recoupment requests,validatesupporting documentation, and coordinate appeals when appropriate.· Partner with Compliance and Accounting teams to ensureaccuraterepayment tracking, reporting, and documentation.· Conduct quality audits and evaluate productivity metrics to ensure established standards are achieved.· Prepare refund requests and supporting documentation for repayment processing or recoupment activity.· Manage employee performance through regular feedback, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.·Monitordepartmental compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations.· Analyze reports and financial data toidentifytrends, opportunities, and operational improvements.· Ensuretimelyandaccuratetimekeeping and workflow management within the department.·Cross-trainwith the Cash Posting Manager and perform critical responsibilities during extended absences.· Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with staff, payers, vendors, and clients.· Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

    · High school diploma or GED;Bachelor'sdegree preferred.· Certification in Billing and/or Coding preferred.· Minimum two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in healthcare billing, collections, payment processing, denial management, or related revenue cycle functions.· Missouri CCBHO and MCO billing experience preferred.·Demonstratedability to supervise, develop, and evaluate team members.· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare clear, concise reports.· Working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes and revenue cycle operations.·Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and data analysis tools.

    Additional Qualifications:

    · Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.· Ability toidentifyoperational issues, develop solutions, and implement process improvements.· Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.· Strong verbal and written communication skills.· Effective time management and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment.· Strong computerproficiencyand comfort learning andutilizingvarious software systems.· Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.· Successful completion of background checks, including criminal history, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint screenings.

    Physical Requirements

    · Perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible forcefrequentlyto move objects.· Sit for extended periods throughout the workday.· Occasionally walk or stand for brief periods as needed.· Perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements associated with typing, data entry, and written documentation.·Utilizecomputers and other office equipment for prolonged periods.
