Job Summary

The RST Program Coordinator will administer all aspects of the Peer Recovery Support Center’s Recovery Service Transportation program including the general oversight of fleet management, scheduling and supervision of Recovery Coach Drivers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations; ensures compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures, code of conduct, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the Center's Recovery Service Transportation program.
  • Supervise recovery coach drivers in accordance with the Brien Center’s fleet management policies and procedures. 
  • Manage and coordinate the weekly transportation Schedule. 
  • Schedule and assign recovery coach drivers based on transportation needs and scheduling. 
  • Ensure that the recovery service transportation program follows and adheres to the Brien Center’s fleet management program. 
  • Provide weekly transportation updates to members and staff. 
  • Engage with program participants 
  • Facilitate groups as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required.  
  • Participate in all relevant staff meetings and scheduled supervision
  • Maintain safety and quality of site and report any incidents or accidents to supervisor
  • Maintain all transportation documentation.
  • Assist with driving coverage in the absence of other staff as well as fill scheduling gaps as needed. 
  • Attend other agency staff meetings as assigned. 
  • Communicate a knowledge of the process of addiction with hopefulness and respect
  • Flexibly respond to program scheduling needs and represent the agency in a professional manner in all community contacts and interagency committees

Qualifications, Experience, and Education

  • Lived experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the recovery field preferred
  • Some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Completion of the Recovery Coach Academy preferred. Must complete within one year of hire date.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Current driver’s license and access to a registered, insured vehicle during work hours
