Recreation Assistant in Therapeutic Recreation at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
Job Summary: Assists in providing a continuum of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of, outcome-based Leisure Activities designed to meet the physical, cultural, spiritual, social, cognitive/intellectual, emotional and creative needs and interests of assigned residents.
Qualifications: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate. 1-3 years of experience. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Computer: ADL/MDS, general applications; Convection Oven; Laminator; DLP Projector, Video Projection systems. American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification; Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates the ability to negotiate on the company's behalf.
