Description

Monitors safety and patron participation facility & membership services in accordance with established policy and procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with exercise of judgment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques.

This position is a seasonal position.

Examples of Duties

• Oversees the conduct and behavior of facility program patrons and ensures safety of participants.
• Works cooperatively with team and front desk to meet established facility/program/service goals.
• Creates a learning environment that promotes sportsmanship and team atmosphere.
• Assists with facility cleanliness, appearance and reporting maintenance needs.
• Ensures safe and proper use of equipment and materials.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently with Recreation Management Team.
• Provides high stand of customer service to patron members and guests including program and member registration and folowing established cash handling procedures.
• Participates in the daily operations of assigned facility which may include organizing equipment, setting up facilities for classes and events, cleaning public areas, monitor/supervising activity areas including open sports, fitness and playroom.

Experience and Training

• Must be at least 15 years of age.

Certificates and Licenses Required

• Must possess current certification in First Aid and CPR or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
