Responsibilities
Assess clients' recreation needs and design personalized therapy plans.
Lead group and individual therapeutic recreation activities on-site.
Ensure safety and accessibility during all recreation sessions.
Track client progress and maintain accurate documentation of outcomes.
Collaborate with care teams to adjust plans based on measured results.
Maintain a results-oriented mindset with clear personal performance targets.
Document incident reports and escalate safety concerns promptly.
Utilize data and pipelines to forecast client progress and program success.
Promote professional development and pursue opportunities for skill expansion.
Engage with clients to gather feedback and improve program effectiveness.
Coordinate with facility staff to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Promote a positive, respectful environment that encourages teamwork.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible for certification.
Design and implement personalized recreation therapy plans based on assessments.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and accessibility requirements at all times.
Lead group and individual therapy sessions with safety and accessibility standards.
Accurate documentation of outcomes, progress notes, and incident reports.
Use data pipelines to forecast progress and program success, adjust plans accordingly.
Collaborate with care teams and facility staff to optimize resources and care quality.
Demonstrate a results-oriented mindset with clear performance targets.
Commit to ongoing professional development and skill expansion.
Gather client feedback and continuously improve program effectiveness.
